5 Life Lessons Learned From the Gym
1. Dedication Pays Off- Small measurable progress day by day will show over time. Play the long game.
2. Show Up Even When You Don’t Feel Like it- We all have days where we just don’t feel like doing the things that we know are necessary to move the ball forward in our lives; but just like the gym, we tie our shoelaces and go anyway. We go because we know we will feel better afterwards and because we keep ourselves accountable.
3. Pain Equals Progress- All great accomplishments seem to always be on the other side of pain and fear. In order to build muscle we have to break down the muscle fibers first, in life we have to put in the work and be willing to go through some pain in order to achieve our desired results.
4. Have a Plan- Just showing up is half the battle, but showing up without a plan would make the road to progress extremely challenging. Make a plan and stick to it.
5. Be Confident- Everything in life requires you to learn, fail, and grow. Knowing this should humble you but it shouldn’t stop you from pushing your limits, because without pushing your limits you won’t grow. Be confident in knowing that you can always get back up and try again.
Stay Beautiful. Stay Brave.
